Dr Kelly Sloan is an Associate Professor of Leadership at Henley Business School.
Kelly has more than 20 years' experience in the higher education sector, having taught at universities in the USA, Australia and Germany. She has given invited talks and lectures in over 20 countries and project managed international multi-disciplinary research projects, first at the Humboldt University, Germany, for the European Research Council, and then at the University of Reading, where she served as Interdisciplinary Research Development Manager. Since its inception in 2008 until 2015, Kelly managed the Centre for Integrative Neuroscience and Neurodynamics (CINN) at the University of Reading, where she helped to set strategic direction for the neuroscience research agenda of the University while managing a dynamic brain imaging facility specializing in cognitive neuroscience and computational neurodynamics.
She holds a BA from Columbia University, New York, a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, MA, and an Executive MBA degree from Henley. She is recognised internationally for her abilities to facilitate communication and co-operation across conceptual and disciplinary boundaries.
Kelly’s current projects include: interdisciplinary engagement for CINN, stakeholder engagement and strategic management as a consultant for the NHS and the international variation in the experience of women in executive education.
