Biography
Leonard N. Stern School of Business
Gustavo Vulcano joined the IOMS Department at the New York University Stern School of Business as Assistant Professor in July 2002. He was Associate Professor during the period 2010-2017 (tenured in 2012). Since September 2017, he is Adjunct Professor.
His research areas include revenue and pricing analytics, retail operations, and supply chain management. He was published in the premier international journals in the Operations Management field, including Operations Research, Management Science, Manufacturing and Service Operations Management, and Production and Operations Management. Currently, he serves as Associate Editor for the first two. He has been the chair of the INFORMS Revenue Management and Pricing Section during 2016-2017.
In addition, Prof. Vulcano has been involved in international consultancy projects related to service operations, including Delta Airlines and Sabre Holdings in USA; Movie in Uruguay; and locally for Fundación Perez Companc, Standard Bank (currently, ICBC), Flechabus holding group, and Aerolíneas Argentinas.
