Biography

Having originally graduated in Geography from St Catherine's, Oxford, Katrina pursed a career as a management consultant with Accenture for ten years before returning to academia. She held previous roles at LSE, Birkbeck and the Open University before joining Swansea University in January 2017.
Katrina is a Professor in the Business Management department of the School of Management. Her research interests include identity (in a variety of employment/volunteering contexts) and diversity (with a specific focus on age and gender). Katrina is particularly interested in qualitative methodological approaches including creative, digital and visual methods.
Katrina is a member of the editorial board of Work Employment and Society and Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology.
Katrina is an Academic Member of the CIPD and a Fellow of the HEA.
