Biography

Vlerick Business School Executive Education

Katleen De Stobbeleir’s goal is to help organisations unlock their full potential – and her research, teaching and coaching focuses on building stronger, more innovative and sustainable organisations. She’s an expert in adaptive leadership and helps teams build the mindset, skillset and toolset to adapt quickly and effectively to change.

Her work covers the full spectrum of leadership – including authenticity, the future of work, the growth mindset, psychological safety, hybrid leadership, responsible and inclusive leader transitions and building a feedback climate.

At Vlerick, Katleen heads our Centre for Excellence in Leading Adaptive Organisations. She teaches a broad audience – from Masters students to senior managers and HR professionals to engineers and doctors. Together with her team, she developed the Appreciative Leadership Profiler, a feedback tool that we use in most of our programmes.

Katleen’s research has featured in several renowned international journals – and she co-authored Making Your Way with our dean, Marion Debruyne. Outside of academia, Katleen is a passionate runner – and often compares leadership with running a marathon.
