Biography

Education: B.S., Georgia Institute of Technology; Ph.D., Duke University

Kathryn Sharpe is an assistant professor at the Darden Graduate School of Business. Prior to her academic career, Sharpe worked at Bain & Company and the operations strategy group at Home Depot. When she is not bleeding Home Depot orange, she is cheering for her alma mater, the "blue and gold." She is a wramblin' wreck from Georgia Tech graduating summa cum laude with her bachelor's in industrial and systems engineering. She received her doctorate in marketing from Duke University. Her research is centered on subtle contextual effects at fast food restaurants and luxury goods markets.
