Biography

Dr. Jojo Jacob joined Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM) as an Associate Professor in the department of Management, Technology and Strategy (MTS) in January 2014. Prior to joining GEM he was a Research Fellow at the Maastricht based United Nations University (UNU-MERIT), where he is currently an Affiliated Researcher. Jojo''s research lies at the intersection of innovation management, entrepreneurship, and international business.

Jojo serves on the editorial board of Business Strategy and the Environment and on the scientific committee of Innovation and Development. He has published in journals such as Journal of Business Venturing, Industrial and Corporate Change, Regional Studies, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, and R&D Management and  is a regular reviewer for several international journals and conferences (such as Strategic Management Society Conference).

Jojo received his PhD in economics from the Eindhoven University of Technology, MPhil in applied economics from CDS, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and MA in economics from Madras Christian College. He is a member of GEM''s Energy Management research team in which his work focuses on topics related to innovation, strategy, and entrepreneurship. Jojo teaches strategy and entrepreneurship.
