Biography
Jie Yan is an associate professor of technology management at Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM), France. He received both his Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering and Master degree in Management Science from Tsinghua University, China; and his Ph.D. in Management Science and Systems at Hull University, UK. He is the program director of the GEM DBA degree offered jointly with Tongji and Sun Yat Sen Universities in China. Yan’s research focuses on learning and innovation networks and Internet related business models and communities. He has published numerous book chapters and articles among others in the Intl. J. Technology Management, Intl. J. Information Technology & Management, Intl. J. Information Management, J. of Business Strategy, _and R&D Management_.
