Biography
Mendoza College of Business
Jerry C. Wei teaches and conducts research on supply chain management and integration, design of lean service processes, and adoption of lean manufacturing systems. He received a B.S. from National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan, an M.E. from Rochester Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. in Operations Management from Texas A&M University. Wei won the “Best Paper Award” in the 1997 Decision Sciences Institute national meeting and is currently on the editorial review boards of the Journal of Operations Management and Decision Sciences. He is certified in production and inventory management (CPIM) by the Association of Operations Management and has conducted seminars or served as a consultant to various firms.
