Research

Itay Kama is a Visiting Associate Professor of accounting at the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, and a tenured faculty member at the Recanati Business School, Tel Aviv University. His main research topics are focused on financial statement analysis, earnings quality, role of accounting information in capital markets, earnings and cash management, cost behavior, and equity valuation. He has published in leading journals in his field. His professional experience includes working in the consulting departments of PwC and Ernst & Young, as well as private consulting.
