Having performed international roles & responsibilities providing an even wider global footprint. Experience focused in capital markets, corporate finance and development, financial analysis, strategic planning / corporate organization and governance. Profound interaction with global enterprises, government entities, private equity, banks, and institutional investors.
As an executive and business leader, I bring 16 years of progressive leadership experience and a track record delivering results:
- Grew Iberia Equity Capital Markets by diversifying and increasing our client base, our product spectrum and achieving key milestone mandates such as the €5bn IPO by the Spanish Government of Aena Aeropuertos
- Internationalized our activity with specific focus in “cross-border” coverage for our local clients
- Increased responsibility to lead other regions (Turkey, Middle East, north Africa) with the mandate to implement strategies to grow the business
Additional highlights:
- Lead/participated in teams that won multiple awards for excellence including Euromoney Best Global Equity House, IFR best European Equity House and IFR European Equity Deal of the year (Aena)
- Front-line experience winning new business, achieved mandates from numerous new clients to the firm (Melia Hotels, Amorim, SEPI, Parpublica)
- Built productive partnerships with stakeholders including HR, Risk, Compliance, Credit, and Legal departments
- Participant of the European Equity Commitment Committee and Underwriting committee at BofAML
- Recruitment - Diversity champion; speaker and supporter in diversity events. Member of the ECM EMEA recruitment team for years, and mentor of numerous colleagues whilst at BofAML and thereafter
- Served as board member of Merrill Lynch Capital Markets España S.A. from February 2017 to March 2018
