Hilary Gosher is a Managing Director at Insight Venture Partners, a $5 billion growth-stage venture capital firm investing in tech and software companies worldwide. 

Gosher joined SIPA in 2016 to help build the entrepreneurship program. For five years prior to SIPA she served as an Adjunct Associate Professor in entrepreneurship at NYU''s Stern School of Business. Gosher actively mentors technology start-ups and in 2015 appeared on the TechWeek100 List of Tech Leaders in NY. Business Insider recognized Gosher as one of the Most Inspiring Women in Tech in New York city.  She is a published author, a regular speaker at tech events and appears on TV to discuss investing trends.

Gosher holds an MBA from INSEAD and a B.A. and LLB (cum laude) from University of KZN in South Africa.

Hilary Gosher is a managing director at Insight Venture Partners, a global private equity and venture capital firm investing in software, eCommerce, internet, and data-services companies. Hilary co-manages Insight Onsite, the operations consulting team collaborating with portfolio companies to drive growth and profitability . Hilary currently serves on the Board of Directors, of, or works with Anaqua, Datacore, Drillinginfo, ECi Solutions, IKANO/Virtacore, Mimecast, Mediaspectrum, OverDrive, Photobox, Tongal and Shunra.

Hilary is an Adjunct Professor at NYU's Stern School of Business, teaching entrepreneurship to MBA students. She actively mentors technology start-ups. She is a published: a chapter entitled "Customer Lifetime Value: Methodology and Applications for Operating Partners" was published by Private Equity International in 2011.

Prior to joining Insight, Hilary held management positions at The Monitor Group; she worked at Marketspace, an e-commerce affiliate focused on start-ups and online retail businesses. Earlier in her career Hilary held finance positions at Reuters UK, and Sea Containers in London.

Hilary received an MBA from INSEAD in France along with a BA in Economic History (first class pass) and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), cum laude, from the University of Natal, South Africa.
