I am a molecular biologist with 8+ years of research experience in cardiovascular research. I am working as a Postdoctoral Researcher Fellow at Harvard Medical School and my main research focus is to use patient-specific iPSC-derived cardiomyocytes to study congenital heart disease. I worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at University of Houston from 2017-2019 and explored the role of TMAO, Visfatin and Nicotine in endothelial dysfunction and podocyte injury using in-vitro as well as using mice atherosclerotic and nephrectomy model. I received my PhD from post graduate institute of medical education and research, India. I investigated the role of microRNAs and promoter methylation in diabetes associated cardiac hypertrophy in both primary cardiomyocytes as well as in rat model of diabetes associated cardiac hypertrophy.
