University of New Mexico
Grant Black is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the local Rio Grande Chapter of PMI (PMIRGC), the President-Elect of the Albuquerque Metro Rotary Club, and a new adjunct faculty member of the University of New Mexico, Anderson School of Management, Management Development Center.
Grant has been in the military for almost 25 years full and part time. He has worked in the Air Force, New Mexico Air National Guard, sales, and manufacturing industries. Currently he is the full time IT Infrastructure Program Manager for the New Mexico Air National Guard, the Air National Guard Project Management Steering Committee Representative for Region 5 (7 states), a full time father, and an EMBA student at UNM Anderson School of Management.
Grant has received recognition and rewards for efficient completion of multi-year and multi-million dollar projects. His project work has been primarily centered around retooling production maintenance areas for aircraft, IT infrastructure planning, and volunteer events to fund raise for homeless veterans and disadvantaged children. Grant believes that his four year old can teach more about how to enjoy life than any seminar he has attended.
