Dr. Georgette Zinaty holds the position of Executive Vice President at Corporate Class Inc. Prior to joining CCI in 2020, Dr. Zinaty had a distinguished career as an executive and senior leader at the University of Toronto. She holds a Bachelor degree in English and Political Science from the University of Toronto, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Liverpool, a Master of Science from the Henley School of Business, and a certificate from Harvard on leading strategic change within organizations. She has recently completed her Doctorate of Business Administration – a joint program with the Rotman School of Management and the Henley Business School. Her research interests include business leadership, diversity, inclusion, and the future of leadership.

While at the University of Toronto, Dr. Zinaty held several diverse leadership positions. Most recently she served as the Executive Director of Advancement in the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering. Prior to that, she held the position of Executive Director of Development and Alumni Relations at the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) where she oversaw significant gains in alumni engagement, innovative new programming, positioning, and advancement. Prior to this, she was the Director for the University of Toronto Awards and Honours in the Office of the Vice President, Research. Under her leadership, the University and its faculty realized significant breakthroughs in terms of its key performance indicators and international recognition.

Dr. Zinaty has served on a number of boards including the University of Liverpool Advisory Board where she was the only woman and only international representative. She has been an active member of the Business Excellence Awards Committee of the Toronto Region Board of Trade. More recently, she was invited to be part of Doyenne Capital, which supports female start-up's and entrepreneurs, and Creative Hub 1352, a not-for-profit that focuses on advancing the education of the public through instructional programs, exhibits and opportunities to learn about the arts and protection of the environment.

Dr. Zinaty is a strong advocate for leadership and inclusion within organizations. She founded and spearheaded an annual Leader to Leader conference at the University of Toronto Scarborough that successfully fostered discussion on many relevant topics that impact the workforce and became a flagship program for UTSC. She has also created a number of leadership programs for young men and women focused on developing awareness and personal leadership capacity. Under her leadership the mentorship/leadership program at the University of Toronto has won awards and accolades from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.

Dr. Zinaty has also been a frequent panelist and a public speaker, including a TEDx talk. In 2018, she was recognized as 1 of 6 Immigrant Women of Inspiration by the Canadian Immigrant Magazine for her work in the leadership, mentorship and sponsorship space. She is the recipient of the Canadian Association of University Business Officers (CAUBO) Productivity Award, a Stepping Up award in recognition of contributions and innovation in support of the University’s goals. She has also been recognized by leaders in her community as well as various Members of Parliament at both the provincial and federal levels for her contributions to society.
