Wolf-Georg Ringe is Professor of International Commercial Law at Copenhagen Business School. He also teaches at the University of Oxford, Faculty of Law, where he was a full-time faculty member between 2007-12. He has held visiting positions at various institutions around the world, most recently a visiting professorship at Columbia Law School, New York (spring 2014).
Georg specializes in European and global issues of corporate and financial law. He is the general editor of the new Journal of Financial Regulation, which is published by Oxford University Press as of 2015. He has been advising both the European Commission and the European Parliament on issues of European Corporate Law. Georg teaches various courses in the field of corporate and business law, and his current research interests are in the general area of Law and Finance, Comparative Corporate Governance, Capital and Financial Markets, Insolvency Law and Conflict of Laws.
