Geert Verstraeten

Geert Verstraeten is Managing Partner at Python Predictions, a Belgian niche player with expertise in the domain of Predictive Analytics. He currently has over 10 years of "hands-on experience" in different industries such as retail, mail-order, telecom, banking, utilities, subscription services, postal services and fundraising. At Python Predictions, Geert focuses on general management, project management and training. His ambition is to coach analysts and their managers to become successful with predictive analytics.

Geert has been involved with launching and building analytical communities in Belgium (BAQMaR - baqmar.eu) and abroad (Predictive Analytics World London - pawcon.com/london). He is a frequent speaker on business conferences and analytical conferences. In 2005, Geert obtained a PhD in Applied Economics at Ghent University (Belgium) with a focus on Predictive Analytics. Since 2014, Geert is a certified professional trainer, aiming at designing learning experiences in the domain of advanced and predictive analytics.
