Graduated at University of Amsterdam (UvA) with a Master in Business Economics (1994), then got my PhD in technology Management, more specifically in the area of Purchasing Management, from Eindhoven University of Technology (2000). Worked at RSM Erasmus Univeristy in Rotterdam before moving to Maastricht in 2007 to hold the NEVI Chair in Purchasing and Supply Management.
I always combined my parttime career in academia with consulting and training jobs. Over the years, I have had positions at different consulting firms, ranging from Holland Consulting Group, Compendium, Solvint and most recently FRConsulting.
