Biography

I hold a position as a Lecturer in Business and Management at the School of Business and Creative Industries, having previously worked as an Adjunct Lecturer at Robert Gordon University. In 2021, I obtained my PhD in Business and Management from Aberdeen Business School, Robert Gordon University. My doctoral research focused on examining the concept of coopetition within the UK oil and gas sector, with a specific emphasis on identifying the barriers that prevent the implementation of coopetition to encourage collaboration within the competitive industry. In addition, my study highlighted the role of trust and supply chain resilience in inter-organisational relationships, and I used structural equation modelling techniques to develop a coopetition model.

My current research interests include exploring the potential of coopetition to drive sustainable practices and achieve net-zero goals. Additionally, I am interested in investigating the development of emergent strategy in inter-organisational relationships.
