Henley Business School

Dr Elizabeth Houldsworth is an Associate Professor of Leadership, Organisations and Behaviour at Henley Business School. She is an experienced business school academic working in the areas of leadership and personal development, coaching and human resources management.

Elizabeth teaches on MBA and Corporate programmes at Greenlands campus as well as on Masters programmes at Whiteknights campus. Her research focuses mainly on management learning; recent studies have included a comparative analysis of MBA students and their career outcomes.

In her role as Academic Director for MSc in International Human Resource Management, Elizabeth secured CIPD accreditation and oversees the ongoing relationship with the professional body. In addition to teaching HRM modules Elizabeth also teaches managing transformation, personal development and coaching.

She is an Associate Certified Coach of the International Coaching Federation and an Academic Fellow of the CIPD, as well as being an active member of the British Academy of Management's Special Interest Group in Knowledge Management and Learning. Elizabeth also serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Management Education.

Prior to joining academia she worked in human resource management and in management consultancy with the Hay Group, where she specialised in the area of performance management.
