Biography
Rotman School of Management
David Soberman is a Professor of Marketing and the Canadian National Chair of Strategic Marketing. David was previously at INSEAD and joined the Rotman School in 2008. His research is focused on understanding how the operation of markets is affected by the exchange of information between firms and customers, relationships within the distribution channel and the introduction of innovations to markets. He has also assumed the role of Chair of the Rotman Designworks Advisory Board with a view to maximizing the impact of this important innovation initiative. Prior to academia, David held a number of positions in marketing management, sales, and engineering with Molson Breweries, Nabisco Brands Ltd. and Imperial Oil Ltd.
