Smith School of Business

A former Canadian diplomat, Colin Robertson is a Senior Strategic Advisor for McKenna, Long and Aldridge LLP and working with the Canadian Council of Chief Executives. He is Vice President and Fellow at the Canadian Defence and Foreign Affairs Institute, an Executive Fellow at the University of Calgary’s School of Public Policy and a Distinguished Senior Fellow at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University. He is chair of the board of Canada World Youth. As well, a member of the board of the Conference of Defence Associations Institute and the advisory board of the North American Research Partnership. He is a past president of the National Capital Branch of the Canadian International Council. He is s regular contributor on foreign affairs to the Globe and Mail and other publications.
