Christian Baldia is President and Founder of Constellation Strategy & Analytical Services. Prior to launching Constellation SAS, Christian Baldia served as a Managing Director at Virtcom Consulting, a management consulting firm serving major organizations around the globe. Christian previously served at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York as a Senior Financial/Economic Analyst in the Policy and Analysis division of the Bank Supervision Group. Before working for the Federal Reserve, Christian Baldia was an investment banker at Butler, Chapman & Co., where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions for middle-market companies, and at PaineWebber (now part of UBS), where he worked in municipal finance – primarily for New York State and New York City agencies.

Christian has been active in politics and public policy throughout his life. He has worked on a number of Presidential and Senatorial election campaigns and served for four years in President Bill Clinton’s Administration. There, he served initially as a staff member for the White House in the Office of Presidential Personnel, and then as a Senior Policy Analyst to the Under Secretary for Domestic Finance and subsequently to the Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of the Treasury. In 2004, he served on Senator John Kerry’s Presidential campaign at Americans Overseas for Kerry (AOK), an organization focused on outreach to American expatriate voters which was founded and headed by Senator Kerry’s sister, Diana Kerry. After first working as a Senior Advisor in AOK’s Madrid office in Spain, he was later promoted to Communications Director of AOK’s global operations. Following the election campaign, Christian moved to Madrid, where he worked as a Derivatives Trader for TransMarket Group Iberia, the Spanish operations of the US proprietary trading and investment company, TransMarket Group LLC.

Christian frequently conducts speaking engagements and seminars for corporate, government, academic and nonprofit audiences in the US and numerous other countries including the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Austria, Belgium, Hungary and Spain. He teaches graduate courses in data analytics/visualization and database modeling at New York University and undergraduate courses in change management, business strategy, and geopolitics for business at Baruch College.

Christian graduated from the University of Pittsburgh’s University Honors College with a B.Phil. degree in Politics, Philosophy & Economics (PP&E) and in the History & Philosophy of Science. He also earned a Masters in Public Policy degree with a concentration on business-government policy and financial markets from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
