About me
I am a senior lecturer in accounting and finance. I am a UWE BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance alumna and joined UWE as a lecturer in 2014. I am a qualified Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW and had worked in professional practice for 6 years. I have experience working with SMEs, individuals and partnerships in the fields of financial accounting, tax and insolvency.
In my teaching, I adopt an active teaching and learning strategy and the module which I am leading, I integrate business theories into student employability, developing students'' inter-personal skills ready for employment.
I am also passionate about working with international students to maximise and enhance their learning experience whilst they are in the UK.
Currently, I teach on the foundation level and the following undergraduate modules:
