Carles Agell

He was born in Barcelona in 1963. In 1987 he obtained the title of industrial engineer, specializing in Energy Techniques, by the ETSEIB, of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. During the 1987-88 academic year, he completed postgraduate studies in Nuclear Engineering at Purdue University.

At the same university, he studied a master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), which he finished in 1989. His subsequent professional career developed in the business consulting sector. Until December 1990, he worked at Andersen Consulting, (now Accenture), where he participated in consulting projects in the fields of production, information systems and business strategy.

Later, he does it in The Mac Group, SA/Gemini Consulting, as a consultant in merger management projects, diversification strategies and organization. Since May 1994 he has worked in the strategic consulting company EuroPraxis Consulting, as partner-director, general manager, and is responsible for the Telecommunications sector on an international scale. He knows Portuguese and French, as well as English.
