GIBS Business School

Bonita Lee-Shew is a Professional Associate of the University of Pretoria’s Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS). She has been associated with GIBS since 2003, when she headed up Executive Education as the Director. She works across different arms of the business school including core academic programmes and customised corporate programmes. Bonita’s role ranges from lecturer, coach, facilitator, learning integrator and mentor to students on customised programmes and MBA students. Her areas of speciality include Leadership and Personal Mastery, Team Development, Problem Solving and Decision Making, Executive and Team Coaching, and Action Learning Coaching. She has worked across multiple industries including retail, financial services, mining, travel, cellular, technology, pharmaceutical, consulting, government, manufacturing, media. She has travelled abroad extensively with students conducting learning programmes, including New York, Toronto, London, Amsterdam, Prague, Dubai (including clients from middle east and north African region), Moscow, Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, Malaysia, Singapore, China, India, Netherlands, Germany, Brazil, Slovenia, France.

Bonita has owned and run D4 Coaching, an executive coaching and consulting business for the last 10 years, where she has specialised in Organisational Development, Employee Engagement, Talent Management and Retention, Culture Transformation, EXCO team development and Executive Coaching.

Prior to joining GIBS, she worked as the Director of Executive Programmes at the UCT Graduate School of Business, and prior to that as the Director of Training Services at the Institute of Marketing Management.
