I studied European Studies, Economics and Political Economy (University of Wolverhampton & University College London, UK). I received a PhD in Science and Technology Policy (University of Sussex-SPRU, UK). I had prior positions at the Halle Institute for Economic Research - Member of the Leibniz Association (DE) and the University Bremen (DE). I joined CBS in 2013. At the Department of International Economics and Management I coordinate the Center for Emerging Markets and I am Academic Programme Director for the BSc in Business, Asian Language and Culture - International Business in Asia. My own teaching focuses on International Business, Global Value Chain Dynamics and Innovation in Emerging Markets.
