Bisrat Msc Misganaw

Biography:

Bisrat is finalizing his PhD in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at BI Norwegian Business School, Oslo, Norway, where he researches the formation and development of entrepreneurial teams in the life sciences industry, and how this process is shaped by the way the entrepreneurial support system is organized. He obtained his MSc in Business and Economics, major in Business Administration, from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Uppsala, Sweden, in 2012. Prior to that, Bisrat has worked in the banking industry in Ethiopia for about four years after obtaining his Bachelor’s degree in Management (with distinction) from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia in 2006. His research interests include entrepreneurship (specifically entrepreneurial teams), academic spinoffs, innovation policy, and informal financial institutions in developing countries.
