Biography

Beth completed her bachelors degree at the University of Manchester in 2013 with a first class honours in Economics. She went on to obtain a MSc in Economics with distinction from the University of Manchester in 2015. Her masters dissertation titled ''How do hospitals respond to price changes in accident and emergency departments?'', supervised by Professor Matt Sutton and Rachel Meacock, analysed the incentive effects of changes to how English hospitals were reimbursed for A&E attendances.

Shortly after completing her MSc, she joined the Manchester Centre for Health Economics as a Research Associate in November 2015.
