Hibschweiler is an expert in issues involving business law and taxation. She was a practicing attorney for five years, focusing primarily on tax and corporate law. Hibschweiler previously served as an associate professor at SUNY Fredonia, where she was awarded the Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching. At the School of Management, Hibschweiler teaches undergraduate and graduate law courses and coordinates the part-time law instructors.
