Biography

Antonette McCaster specializes in public sector and nonprofit accounting. She has been a lecturer with SPEA since 2011. McCaster''s background includes financial leadership roles with the City of Richmond, the Virginia Department of Transportation, and the Village of Bolingbrook, Illinois. She has more than 15 years of experience in the areas of accounting, project management, information systems, budgeting, audit, financial reporting, and staff development.

Prior to joining IU, McCaster served for more than two years as assistant controller for the Virginia Department of Transportation where she spearheaded the development, implementation, and staff training of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Reporting Tool.

McCaster received her MBA, with a concentration in management information systems, from DePaul University.
