Biography

The Chartered Institute of Marketing

Andrew Pain is on a mission to prevent burnout and create resilient communities of decisive people who can withstand adversity and be consistently resourceful with what they have. Delivering content-rich talks in his own dynamic and down to earth style, he shares powerful and practical strategies to inspire lasting change.

Working recently with varied organisations such as; Lloyds Bank, Amazon, Birmingham City University, Aston University, Essex County Council, Federation of Small Businesses, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, he delivers insightful keynote talks providing answers to some of the most pressing leadership issues of today:

How do you deliver on your responsibilities and aspirations when the goalposts keep moving and you’re stretched to breaking point? How do you know when to pull the plug or persevere, or when to play it safe or do something audacious? How do you dig even deeper when you’ve already shouldered too many knocks and trying feels pointless? Accredited by and member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Andrew is also a member of the Professional Speaker’s Association (PSA) and a TEDx and approved VISTAGE speaker. He also campaigns on domestic abuse and gender unity, speaking about his personal experiences of domestic abuse and the wider challenges society faces in tackling domestic abuse, including; how to support all victims of domestic abuse (male and female), how to equip people to spot the signs of abusive relationships, how to tackle gender bias and how to develop strong boundaries which protect us at work and home.

Andrew is a trustee for a charity which supports families where children are the perpetrators of domestic abuse and regularly contributes to blogs, podcasts and radio shows such as Good Men Project, Happiful, BBC West Midlands, BBC Coventry and Warwickshire, UCB Broadcasters and Sikh Channel TV.

He also works with a ground-breaking charity in Birmingham, which prevents homelessness and alleviates poverty through an innovative programme to tackle; furniture poverty, food poverty and data poverty. Delivering the HR and development lead for the charity, he is also responsible for a debt advice/money mentoring programme, working with people in financial crisis, in one of the top 300 most deprived UK postcodes.
