Alon Lisak

Alon Lisak is an Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior (the Israeli title is Lecturer). Alon's research interests are focused in leadership and team processes, specifically in global leadership in context of multi-cultural teams, cross- cultural management, leadership emergence and motivation to lead. Alon has teaching experience in organizational behavior, leadership and team processes in several MBA and undergraduate programs. Alon earned his B.A in Psychology and Communication (2001) and his M.A. in Organizational and Occupational Psychology (2004) from the University of Haifa. He earned his Ph.D. in Organizational/Industrial Psychology (2011) from the Technion- Israel Institute of Technology.

• 2001-2004: M.A. in Organizational Psychology, Department of Psychology, The University of Haifa, Haifa, Israel . Magna Cum Laude. Advisor: Prof. Micha Popper. Title of thesis: Motivation to Lead (MTL) – Antecedents of the Motivation to Lead and a Comparative Study Between Groups of "Leaders" and "Non-leaders" and within the Group of "Leaders".
• 2006-2011: Ph.D. in Organizational and Industrial Psychology, Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management, Technion- Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel.Advisor: Prof. Miriam Erez. Title of thesis: Global Leadership Behaviors and Followers' Openness to Cultural Diversity as Antecedents of Multi-Cultural Team Identity and Effectiveness.
