Fordham University
Ahir Gopaldas is an associate professor of marketing at the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University. He conducts research on social issues in marketing, including sustainability marketing, diversity in the media, mental health, new technologies, and customer journeys.
His work has been published in several journals, including Journal of Consumer Research and Journal of Marketing, and has received multiple awards, including the American Marketing Association’s Hunt-Maynard Award for the most significant contribution to marketing theory in the Journal of Marketing in 2020.
Prior to his academic career, Professor Gopaldas worked in finance, marketing, and technology roles at two multinational companies and two start-ups. He currently teaches Marketing Principles, Social Marketing, and Customer Journey Design.
