Afonso Almeida Costa is an Assistant Professor at Nova School of Business and Economics. He holds Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees in Management (Strategy) from INSEAD. He also holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Economics from Nova School of Business and Economics. His main research interests are in the domain of competitive and corporate strategy. Prior to turning to academia; Afonso worked for a short stint as an M&A analyst at Espírito Santo Investment Bank (now Haitong Bank).
