Description

The Executive Mentoring Program targets executives who would like professional support out- side their own organization. Adepts receive outside assistance in handling challenges in personal development, leadership, strategy, and other work- related issues.

The mentors in the Program come from the Stockholm School of Economics’ network. All have solid experience from private enterprise and leadership that helps them contribute new approaches, insights, and ideas. All mentors have held prominent positions in Swedish enterprise with backgrounds in the private and public sectors, which promise refreshing diversity and rewarding encounters. The adepts and mentors are paired off based on the needs and challenges of each adept and the back- ground and experience of each mentor. Because this pairing is crucial to the results of the program – for the adept as well as for the mentor – all participants will undergo an admissions procedure including a personal interview and questionnaire enabling qualitative pairing. The 2016 mentors include Anders Kompass, Magdalena Gerger and Gaby Vreeken.

The Program consists of 5–8 individual sessions in which each mentor- adept pair works to a structured format. At the start of the program, we will train mentors and adepts and give participants a common foundation for succeeding with the process.

The Executive Mentoring Program in brief:

  • 5–8 one-on-one sessions with your mentor
  • One introductory lecture on mentorship
  • Concluding network get-together
