Biography

Dr. Zhijian Cui is currently a tenured full Professor of Business Administration and Director of MBA Program at School of Management, University of Science and Technology of China in Hefei, China. Zhijian is also the current President of INFORMS Technology, Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship Section. Being a Chinese citizen and a permanent resident of Spain, Zhijian studied, worked and lived in China, France, U.S.A., Spain, Hong Kong and Kazakhstan.

Zhijian's research interests mainly concern innovation management, in particular, the management of knowledge-intensive processes, innovation strategy and the unique contexts of emerging market economies. Zhijian teaches courses including operations & supply chain management, project management, service management, new product development and business model innovation from undergraduate to master, doctoral and executive education levels.
