Personal profile

Research interests

My research focuses on two key employee attitudes: engagement and commitment. I am interested in exploring what motivates employees to become engaged in their work and committed to their organisation. I am also interested in how satisfaction of employees with the HR practices of their organisations shape their engagement and commitment. I have been actively involved in the Organisational Behavior (OB) Strategic Interest Group (SIG) of European Academy of Management (EURAM) conference since 2013 as general track chair and programme chair. I am the OB SIG chair and programme chair for 2017-2018 EURAM conference.

Willing to supervise PhD

I welcome PhD applications from prospective students interested in conducting quantitative research in areas of work engagement, organisational commitment and satisfaction with HRM practices.
