Short Biography
Yujie Lu obtained his B.E. in Civil Engineering and Ph.D. in Construction Management from Tongji University, China in 2006 and 2012. His doctoral thesis was awarded the best dissertation award of Tongji University under the supervision of Dr.Jingbo Jiang and Dr.Yun Le and Dr. Qingbin Cui. During the graduate study, he worked as a project consultant in the construction and project management job sites, and won the 2011 IPMA international project excellent award as team member for the China 2010 Shanghai EXPO construction. By the support of Dr. Qingbin Cui, he joined the the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering, University of Maryland in 2009 as a research assistant and then a postdoctoral associate to work for a variety of projects and funding agencies, including Maryland State Highway Administration, Maryland Industrial Partnership, and Glodon Inc. He started the work at the National University of Maryland in the end of 2013.
