BIO

Dr. Kevin (Yong Kyu) Gam is an Assistant Professor of Finance at UCD School of Business. Prior to joining UCD, he was an Assistant/Associate Professor of Finance in the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. Dr. Gam obtained his doctorate (Doctor of Business Administration in Finance) from Washington University in St. Louis. Prior to his academic career, Dr. Gam worked at the financial supervisory authority in South Korea. He holds a master degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Seoul National University. His research is in the field of banking, financial intermediation and corporate finance with a focus on financial stability and credit markets.
