Biography
CEIBS
Dr. Yimin Zhang is Professor of Finance at CEIBS. Before joining CEIBS, Dr. Zhang held faculty positions in the Faculty of Business, University of New Brunswick, Canada, and Department of Economics and Finance, City University of Hong Kong. He has taught at CEIBS as visiting professor for years.
Dr. Zhang received his PhD in Finance and Policy from University of British Columbia, Canada, after graduating from the Bachelor''s programme of Harbin Navel Engineering Institute and the MBA programme of Shanghai Jiaotong University. His main research interest is in the areas of Operation, Financing, and Regulation of Transportation Industries. He is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Transport Economics and Policy _and he has published in the Journal of Public Economics, Journal of Business and Economic Statistics, Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Transport Economics and Policy, _Journal of Urban Economics, as well as the Review of Pacific Basin Financial Markets and Policies, among others. Dr. Zhang is the recipient of the 2008 and 2010 CEIBS Teaching Excellence Award.
