Yi is a Presidential Young Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and Group Head in Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore at NUS. Dr Hou has a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering at University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany. During his PhD, he visited the Clarendon Laboratory in the Department of Physics at University of Oxford in the UK to study the interface charge transfer doping between hybrid semiconductors. His postdoctoral training at ECE in University of Toronto was mainly focused on photophysics and transport properties of the perovskite absorber layer in photovoltaics.
