Wisconsin School of Business

Yang Wang joined the Department of Risk and Insurance at the Wisconsin School of Business in fall 2016 after seven years in the Department of Economics at Lafayette College in Pennsylvania. She received her PhD in economics from Duke University. Her primary research interests are in applied microeconomics, health economics, and applied econometrics.

Wang’s research has been published in several high-profile publications, including the American Economic Journal: Applied Economics, the International Economic Review, and Health Economics. In addition, she is the co-author of a chapter on The Double Burden of Malnutrition in The Oxford Handbook of Economics and Human Biology (2016).
