Biography
Yang Li is a Researcher and a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow (MSCA-IF) in the Automatic Control research group at the Department of Electrical Engineering. His project "BatCon: Lithium-ion battery control for faster charging and longer life" is granted by the European Commission through the H2020-MSCA-IF-2019 call. His current research focuses on health- and safety-aware fast charging control of lithium-ion batteries. He also has research experiences and interests in advanced modelling and control of energy storage systems, renewable power generation systems, and power electronic converters.
Yang received the B.E. degree in electrical engineering from Wuhan University, Wuhan, China, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in power engineering from the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. He was with NTU, Queensland University of Technology, and Wuhan University of Technology.
