Bristol Business School
After working in IT and the construction industry for 10 years, I pursued degrees at Northumbria University in Newcastle upon Tyne, including an MBA from the Business School and a PhD in project management from the Built Environment School. I joined the Business and Management department in 2012 after working four years at Robert Gorden University in Scotland. I am a Fellow of APM (Association for Project Management) with both APMP and PQ qualifications from APM. I supervise Masters and PhD students' research relating to SMEs, Project Management, Knowledge Management and Information Systems, Cross Culture Management, Supply Chain Management etc.
The current research project I am working on is Deconstruction and Recovery Information Modelling (DRIM) funded by EPSRC/Innovate UK, (£800,000; 1/May/2016---30/Apr/2018).
Area of expertise Main expertise is in the following areas within a project management context:
Inter and intra organisational management, coordination in project environment. Knowledge management and knowledge integration, knowledge transfer and the implications in human resource management.
