Dr. Xie Xiaoqing (Kristine) is an Associate Professor of Operations Management at China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). Prior to joining CEIBS, she was an Associate Professor of Operations Management in the School of International Business Administration at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE).
Dr. Xie earned her Ph.D. in Operations Management from Cornell University. Her current research primarily focuses on service operations, revenue management, dynamic pricing and operations/marketing interface. Her papers have been extensively published in leading academic journals including Production and Operations Management, European Journal of Operational Research, Decision Sciences, Cornell Hospitality Quarterly, and International Journal of Revenue Management. She also interned as an Operation Research consultant at JDA Software Group in Atlanta, US. while she was a doctoral student at Cornell. At SUFE, she taught various courses including operations management, revenue management and dynamic pricing, management system simulation and logistic simulation.
Dr. Xie has received 2013 National Natural Science Foundation of China grant and 2012 Elwood S. Buffa Doctoral Dissertation Honorable Mention Award. She is also the winner of the 2012 Caesars Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award in Hospitality.
