Biography

Wojtek Kulczycki studied Business Administration (Diploma) at the University of Mannheim. He majored in Sport Management; the major was offered by Ruprecht-Karls-University Heidelberg. After graduation Wojtek Kulczycki worked for Allianz SE and FIS Information Systems and Consulting GmbH. Since the beginning of 2013 he was PhD student at the Chair of Sport and Health Management at TUM. Wojtek Kulczycki is active alpine skier, team handball player, and scuba diver. In 2014, he was visiting researcher at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and in 2015 he was visiting researcher at University of California Berkeley. In 2015, he was ranked second for the New Researcher Award of the European Association for Sport Management. At the European Academy of Management Conference, he won the Best Paper Award in the Sport Management track (Paris, 2016). In July 2016 Wojtek Kulczycki completed successfully his dissertation entitled " The effects of sport organizations’ communication of Corporate Social Responsibility on consumers".

Research interests

Wojtek’s research activities focus on the significance of Corporate Social Responsibility aspects of sport clubs, sport associations, and companies from the sport industry, and their effect on stakeholders. Further research interests include current issues in the field of sponsorship-linked marketing, as well as internationalization strategies of sport clubs and sport associations.
