Rutgers Business School
Bill was executive director of pharma supply chain for Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation for over 30 years before retiring in July 2014. Novartis is one of the largest companies in the world overall, and the world’s largest pharmaceutical company by sales at over $58 billion/year. While with Novartis, Bill held a number of supply chain management leadership positions with operational responsibility, both locally and globally, including regional head for North America, and global head of pharma supply chain strategy. He also served as the Novartis representative on the Industry Advisory Board for the Center for Supply Chain Management at Rutgers Business School for 14 years, and as the chairman of that advisory board for the last five years. Bill is a member of the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) and the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) where he is also the education chair for the NJ Roundtable. He was also an advisory board member for LogiPharma. He continues to be a featured guest speaker on various supply chain management topics at both industry and academic events.
