Research & Teaching Interests
Mr. Goldman has research and teaching interests in financial accounting, managerial accounting and ethics in accounting. Behavioral decision heuristics are intriguing and incorporated into teaching when appropriate.
Industry & Academic Experience
Prior to becoming an academic, Mr. Goldman worked as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, in Boston. He audited a variety of public and non-public companies in the consumer industrial products and services space. He found health care and not-for-profit organizations particularly interesting.
Services to the Profession
Mr. Goldman presented at the Massachusetts Society of CPA''s Perspectives from the Pipeline Symposium regarding teaching ethics in the accounting profession. He also participates in workshops, instructional information sessions, and grants to improve technology adaptation in accounting curriculum.
He is also co-founder of the HUB of Analytics Education.
