Biography

BIOGRAPHY

Will is Adjunct Associate Professor of Theatre and Performance Studies in the School of Language and Culture at the Auckland University of Technology. He also serves as Chair of the Mid North (SA) Theatre Group. From 2014-2021 he was Associate Professor (commencing as Senior Lecturer) of Drama in the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences at Flinders University, where he served as Head of the Creativity Research Theme for the college. He was Senior Lecturer in the Centre for Theatre and Performance at Monash University from 2006-2014 and directed the centre from 2007-2011 and in 2012. He served as foundational academic staff in Theatre Studies at the National University of Singapore, Lecturer in Drama at the University of Waikato, and Associate Professor of Theatre at the California State University San Bernardino, also serving as Co-Director of that university's International Institute.Will's monographs are: "Asian Self-Representation at World's Fairs,", "Places for Happiness: Community, Self, and Performance in the Philippines" , and "Theatre and the Politics of Culture in Contemporary Singapore" (Wesleyan University Press 2001).
