Biography

Wayne Jakalski is an instructor for the School of Accountancy & MIS at DePaul University. He teaches courses in forensic accounting, managerial accounting, corporate income tax and individual income tax at the undergraduate and graduate level. He has also been teaching courses at Saint Xavier University since 2001 for the Graham School of Management's MBA Program.

In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Jakalski is an assistant state’s attorney for the Special Prosecutions Bureau, Public Corruption and Financial Crimes Unit at the Office of the Cook County State’s Attorney. He is also affiliated with the Federal Trial Bar and the American Bar Association. Jakalski has spent time as a judge and evaluator for the Moot Court Competitions at The John Marshall Law School, Northwestern University Law School, Philip C. Jessup International Law and Lewis University since 2004. He has worked as a guest instructor for the National White-Collar Crime Center at the Mortgage Fraud Conferences and is a former board member for the Regional Board of the American C​ancer Society.
